Pagerename.py

[edit]

Hello DrFO.Jr.Tn, Who wrote pagerename.py was Andrei Cipu. I think the problem is the Arabic letters in your computer console that does not accept Arabic characters. But I have a suggestion, save the names of new pages in Arabic in a file "titles.py" and then call it "pagerename.py -file:titles.py". Regards, leonardo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LeonardoG (talkcontribs) 23:11, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I happen to be the author of the pagerename.py script. I noticed the message above and then I searched the problem on en.wiki. I must say I was quite surprised, because I had tried the script with Romanian special signs (ă, î. ş, ţ, â), which worked OK. Could you please tell me what version of python and on what OS you where using? Thanks.--Strainu (talk) 09:29, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
